Richard Brian Botelho
Author of Leah's Way

Richard Brian Botelho, the author of Leah's Way, is a recognized professional writer, marketing consultant, economic analyst, and social philosopher since 1984. He is frequently interviewed by both local and national media for his opinions on matters as diverse as economic policy, consumer behavior, societal trends, and global integration. A multi-talented author, his work has been international in scope, consisting of a variety of consulting assignments, including work from India, the Ukraine, Canada, and Ireland. In addition to his writing, he has copyrighted a software program which has saved many of his corporate clients hundreds of thousands of dollars in unnecessary expenditures and extraneous promotion.

His writing credits include his book The New Individualism: Personal Change to Transform Society, used in over one hundred colleges and universities in both undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as articles appearing in The Sociological Quarterly, The Journal of Personal Transformation, MDM Publications, and The Stone Institute.

Leah's Way, a work of inspirational fiction, is the result of Mr. Botelho's keen interest in theology, philosophy and philosophical anthropology, and in many ways is a synthesis of his beliefs. Reaction to this incredible story has been highly supportive of the attempt made by the author to infuse the genre with a greater sense of authenticity. Critics have championed the unapologetic realism found in the work and noted its unique, historic contribution to the field. Advance praise of Leah's Way has been profuse, including a rave review in the 2/1/04 issue of Library Journal, and the book recently won the Silver Award for Fiction at Blether.com, as well as top mention at such diverse organizations as the New York Review of Books, The Book Review Café, Barron's Review of Books, Book Crossings, Reviewers International, CBA Marketplace, and the Old Schoolhouse Magazine.

He received his B.A. and M.A. in Government from California State University, Sacramento. Mr. Botelho lives in Danville, California. This is his first novel.
